So if a secret operations unit could manipulate the weather for years with literally a few dozen people in the know, itâs not such a stretch of the imagination to think that a small black ops unit in the Pentagon could have carried out 9/11. Once the job is done, the media and most intellectuals fall into place like a herd of sheep, bleating without question the âal-Qaedaâ line.
And why do people believe all the crazy bits of conspiracies, like Bush or Obama are alien reptoids?
Remember that people call us crazy, too, simply because we believe â and have what we think is convincing evidence â that 9/11 was an inside-job. As if itâs so outlandish that in the absence of real threats, elements within the most powerful organisation in human history, the US state, would attack members of its own population to justify a new century of global domination. Equally, we think people who canât see the evidence are crazy or at least in denial. Thatâs why you need science in order to have some grounding. Science is flawed â seriously flawed â but itâs the best we can do. So on that broad spectrum, where at one end you believe everything the authorities tell you, all the way across to the other end, where you believe that everyone in authority is a literal demonic entity, you have to have some sensible methods for evaluating evidence. And with conspiracies, where information is not only classified but probably not even written down anywhere, itâs tough.
